A NEW EDEN PARK FRANCHISE STORE IN DUBAI
Eden Park, the upmarket rugby clothing brand, created by Franck Mesnel and Eric Blanc in 1987, has opened a new franchise store (in partnership with the Rivoli Group) in Dubai on 31st January 2008.

Eden Park, the French menswear brand created in 1987 launches a new eau de Cologne “Rugby” to mark the success of one of the most enthralling Rugby World Cups ever held.
CONCEPT STORE AT RIVE GAUCHE BY EDEN PARK
Eden Park is celebrating its 20th birthday this year and opens a concept store in St Germain des Pres, 11-13 rue Lobineau in Paris 6th arrondissement. Located near the St Germain market in a stone cut building with large arched windows, the new Eden Park concept store showcases men’s, women’s and children’s fashion as well as cosmetics and home decoration.

Maison & Objet are holding an exhibition of stylish “coqs” from the 25th – 29th January 2008. This is to continue with the Rugby World Cup, which took place in France last September and October. Coq’n’Roll, the Eden Park coq, who was one of the stars of last autumn will be present on a stand surrounded by the new collection from the pink bow tie brand.

On 26th May 1990, the five Eden Park founders (Franck Mesnel, Eric Blanc, Jean-Baptiste Lafond, Philippe Guillard and Yvon Rousset) were taking part in the French championship rugby finals at the Parc des Princes. At half-time, Yvon Rousset, the only not playing at the time, arrived on the pitch to serve his friends a glass of Champagne. When questioned by a stunned journalist, Yvon replied: “I prefer carrying Champagne to lemons.”
From that day forth, Champagne has tasted of success...
