L'UPCYCLING FRENCH FLAIR

Title

Our PAP'Atelier collection celebrates experimentation and the reinvention of existing materials. Each piece, designed and sewn in Paris, draws on our dormant stock to give a second life to high-quality materials and pieces from our archive collections. Discover these unique and sustainable designs, available as one-off pieces for a limited time exclusively on our website.

This new capsule collection is inspired by a varsity spirit with a retro twist, particularly evident in the jumpers. It features PAP’Atelier’s signature details: white collars, wide button plackets without buttons – which have become the hallmark of these handmade pieces.

When it comes to accessories, the upcycling ethos is fully embraced. Trims from earlier collections are reassembled to create a tote bag, whilst the shopping bag and bum bag are crafted from plum and burgundy shirts, directly echoing the colours of the collection’s jerseys.

Polo shirts

Pap'Atelier polo shirts feature unique striped patterns created from plain polo shirts taken from our dormant stock, cut into strips of varying widths and then reassembled by hand. The quilted collar and original finishes are retained, in keeping with the cut-and-sew craftsmanship that characterises these creations.

Pap'Atelier jerseys combine plain rugby shirts with fabric scraps, cut into strips of varying widths and then hand-sewn together to create a unique striped fabric. Sleeves and chest badges, taken from the original garments, complete each design, crafted in the rugby spirit that characterises these pieces.

Pap'Atelier shirts bring together two men’s shirts from our dormant stock, which are cut up and then pieced together or complemented with strips of fabric to create unique two-tone graphic designs. Each piece is shortened and reworked to create a contemporary feminine silhouette, in a distinctly French Flair style.

Bags

Pap'Atelier bags are crafted from fabric offcuts left over from other pieces in the capsule collection, cut into strips and then assembled by hand to create unique patchwork designs or striking striped patterns. Quilted to provide structure and protection, they feature a recycled patch and an internal zipped pocket.

The pouches

Our Pap'Atelier pouches make the most of the very last scraps of fabric left over from other pieces in the capsule collection, cut and sewn together in strips to create striped patterns or unique patchwork designs. These quilted pouches feature a zip, a badge and a branded lining, all sourced from our dormant stock.

The panniers

Pap'Atelier bags make the most of offcuts of velvet and fabric from other pieces in the capsule collection, which are assembled and quilted by hand to create striking, compact accessories. Each bag features a badge, an internal zipped pocket and an adjustable strap for a customisable fit.
